Mirtha Legrand’s show premiered in 1970 and was aired during the darker days of Argentine politics. For a time, Mirtha’s show did not enjoy political favor. Undeterred, Guy Williams continued to be a frequent guest on Mirtha’s show. "Having Lunch with Mirtha Legrand" outlived her political detractors and Mirtha never forgot Guy’s loyalty. Mirtha Legrand has spoken highly of Guy’s character, support and friendship.
